ILLIT’s fifth EP, BREAK EVEN, is out in Korea, led by “You’re Under Arrest.” The four-song release arrived on October 26, while the official Weverse US store lists October 30 for its US album release. Those dates refer to different parts of the rollout. Album details; US store notice.
1. When is BREAK EVEN released in the US and UK?
BELIFT LAB’s official notice gives October 26 at 6 p.m. KST for the Korean release. Converted to local time, that is 5 a.m. EDT in New York, 2 a.m. PDT in Los Angeles, and 9 a.m. GMT in London, all on October 26.
The Weverse US announcement separately lists October 30 under its availability and shipping information. If you ordered a US album, use that listing and your order confirmation for the relevant schedule. An album’s release date is not a guaranteed doorstep delivery date.
UK retailer Banquet Records also lists October 30 as expected availability for its editions. This is a retailer listing, not evidence that every UK shop or every format follows an identical delivery schedule.
2. What does BREAK EVEN mean?
According to the label-supplied album introduction, the title borrows the idea of a break-even point to describe a relationship in which affection and effort are not being returned. The story moves from recognizing that imbalance to deciding to stop investing in it.
That makes the arrest language part of a fictional pop concept. The title track presents the frustration playfully, using an electro-pop arrangement and a recurring whistle sound.
3. What is the tracklist?
- Super in Love
- More
- You’re Under Arrest
- Pop
Melon lists “You’re Under Arrest” under its Korean title, 체포하겠어; the official video supplies the English title. The album introduction places the songs in an emotional sequence, ending with a new crush on “Pop.” Listening in order is the clearest way to follow that intended arc.
4. Is Song Kang in the music video?
Yes. The Korea Times’ October 26 showcase report identifies Song Kang’s cameo in the music video. The report also describes the members’ performance concept and their discussion of expressing sharper emotions on this release.
The official “You’re Under Arrest” video is on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel. Use that upload when looking for the full video; its title contains both “체포하겠어” and “You’re Under Arrest.”
5. What should listeners and album buyers check first?
For the music, look for the four-track BREAK EVEN EP and the official title-track video. For a physical purchase, compare the exact edition, store region, release date, and shipping estimate on your own order. The October 26 Korean launch and October 30 store listings can both be correct without describing the same purchase.
