Yang Hong-won Cheating Allegations: Timeline and Latest Update

Yang Hong-won’s cheating allegations, AP Alchemy’s response and the reported apology: a dated timeline of what is known and disputed.

Yang Hong-won’s cheating allegations remain disputed. AP Alchemy acknowledges that the rapper accompanied a woman to a motel, but denies that any intimate conduct took place. Its account is a response to the allegation, not an independently established finding.

The latest development is a reported apology linked to the person behind the accusations. However, the identity behind the account and the authenticity of the published messages have not been verified. It should not be treated as a confirmed retraction.

Checked October 27, 2026, Korea Standard Time. Dates below distinguish when claims became public from when the alleged events supposedly happened.

What is the latest on Yang Hong-won’s allegations?

Starnews reported on October 26 that a different social-media account, believed to be connected to the accuser, had posted apparent apology messages the previous day. The report expressly said neither the account operator nor the conversation had been authenticated.

Xports News also reported that the reason for the apparent apology was unclear: it could not establish whether the original allegation was being withdrawn. That distinction matters. A screenshot circulating online is not the same as a verified statement by both people shown in it.

The timeline: wedding, allegations and response

October 18 — Wedding ceremony. Yang held his wedding ceremony. This is the date used in reports describing the allegations as emerging five days after the wedding. It does not, by itself, date the alleged motel visit.

October 23 — Allegations become public. Newsis reported that a person identified as A posted a claim about Yang visiting a motel with another woman, along with recordings and messages. The initial report said the truth of the accusation was disputed; it did not establish an affair.

October 23 — AP Alchemy responds. In its statement reproduced by Sports Chosun, the agency confirmed the shared motel visit but said Yang was intoxicated and went there to sleep. It denied intimate conduct and alleged that the accuser had sought money and misleadingly edited material.

October 24 — YouTube comments restricted. The team behind Yang Hong-won’s Parenting Diary said it was checking the facts and temporarily limiting comments to protect participants, according to OSEN’s subsequent report. A comment restriction is a production decision, not proof that the allegation is true.

October 25–26 — Apparent apology draws new coverage. The posts described above appeared on October 25 and were reported the next day. The unresolved questions about their source and authenticity remain part of the story.

Was the alleged motel visit after the wedding?

Do not confuse the date the accusation surfaced with the date of the alleged visit. OSEN described the visit at the center of the claim as approximately three to four weeks before the October 18 ceremony. The public statement reproduced by Sports Chosun does not establish a precise calendar date.

What has been acknowledged, and what is still disputed?

AP Alchemy has acknowledged the motel visit. It denies an affair and says Yang and the woman filed complaints against the accuser involving alleged extortion, stalking and false statements. Those are the agency’s allegations and account of its legal response; they are not findings of guilt against the accuser.

The available reports do not independently establish what happened inside the room, authenticate every circulated message, or show that the apparent apology conclusively resolves the dispute. The useful next developments would be a verifiable statement clarifying that apology or an attributable update on the complaints. An unfollow, deleted post or edited clip cannot settle those questions.
